Within concrete paving, there are various types that you can choose from, the two most common ones being concrete pavers or solid concrete. Solid concrete is also known as poured concrete or concrete slabs.

What is the difference between concrete pavers and solid concrete?

Despite being made from concrete, both paving materials are very different from one another. The biggest difference being, pavers are manufactured in a factory and bought, while concrete slabs are made from a concrete mixture being poured and dried on-site.

Pavers aesthetically look better than concrete slabs. Getting the same finish from stamped or poured concrete that you can get from pavers made in molds is impossible.

Also, there is more variety in pavers. Pavers can be made to look like tiles, wood, or can feature any other design and color. However, it is easier to cover an irregularly paved area with solid concrete than with pavers because they come in standard shapes and sizes.
